Dropped Courses & Withdrawal Fees

Prorated Costs of Tuition & Fees

Refunds for tuition and fees are calculated based on liable credit hours. Therefore, in some instances, a reduction to tuition and fees may not result in a refund. University Withdrawal forms can be found by visiting the Registrar's website.

Previous Semesters

* Withdrawal: To completely withdraw from all classes.

** Drop: To drop a course or courses that will not result in a complete withdrawal. For dropped courses, charges are computed prior to the issuance of any refunds. A refund is not due unless the charge for the remaining courses plus the percentage charge for the courses dropped is less than the maximum semester charge for tuition and maintenance fees.

FAILURE ON THE PART OF THE STUDENT TO SUBMIT A DROP COURSE REQUEST OR A WITHDRAWAL FORM TO THE TSU RECORDS OFFICE COULD RESULT IN THE FORFEITURE OF THE PRORATED AMOUNTS.

EXCEPTIONS:

鈥 100% prorated amounts are returned for classes that are cancelled by the University.
鈥 100%听prorated amounts are returned听in the untimely death of the student.
Tuition is not prorated if the student is dismissed or suspended.
